The brief for this project evolved substantially between conception and completion, and despite its modest footprint, the finished garden has real wow factor as a result. The new outdoor entertaining area is quite rightly the focal point and comprises a high spec kitchen, a coverable dining room and an adaptable lounge area with feature fireplace. Sculptural in-situ concrete counters, stainless steel fittings, white render walls, floating steps, limestone setts and large format porcelain combine to achieve a clean, contemporary aesthetic; whilst the bespoke cantilevering steel pergola, finished in contrasting matt black and integrating a green roof and retractable awning, provides visual and physical enclosure.
