This walled garden in the Grange fuses the traditional and contemporary, with the original sloped lawn and peripheral borders long forgotten. Exquisite drystone walling is paired with sheet corten to create a series of curving terraces, with free flowing resin-bound gravel paths connecting the different levels and sections of the garden. A variety of seating areas (both for larger groups and more intimate gatherings) have been integrated to take advantage of the sun and shade throughout the day, with the planting bought in from the edges to create a more immersive space to encourage use and enjoyment throughout the year.
